AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Emilie Boehling Christie, 96, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 in Aiken, SC. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Queens Village, NY. Reverend Steve Roth will officiate. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. She was a resident of Franklin Square for over sixty eight years. Mrs. Christie was born in Maywood, NJ, a daughter of the late Rev. John and Emilie Meyer Boehling. She was a homemaker and member of Grace Lutheran Church, Queens Village, NY. Survivors include her beloved husband, Robert W. Christie, Aiken; a daughter, Carol (Jerry) Axner, Aiken; a son, Bob (Phyllis) Christie, Columbia, MO; two grandchildren, Robert Christie, III and Kathleen Christie. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Queens Village, NY.
