Melissa Mason Wall

WAGENER, SC – MELISSA MASON WALL, 41, beloved wife of 13 years of Mark Wall, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Melissa was a daughter of the late Roger Dale and Harriett Rebecca Hutchinson Mason. She was a graduate of Aiken High School and was employed by Aiken County Government. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was an avid member of the Gamecock Club. Survivors in addition to her husband Mark, include two daughters whom she loved very much, Kaleigh Grace and Mason Melissa, a sister, Amy (Walker) Nix, Elko, SC, two brothers, Cary Mason and Brad Mason, both of Aiken, a brother-in-law, Louis (Deena) Wall, Augusta, five nieces and nephews, Ryan (Janine) Wall, Columbia, Megan Melissa Wall, Augusta, Kayla Jo, Dalton and Brantlee Nix, Elko, SC, extended family, Robin (Jack) McCoy, Aiken, Rev. Mark (Edith) Watford, Barnwell, Andy Watford, Aiken, Victor (Sheila) Watford, Willow Spring, NC, an aunt, Gloria Scott, Wagener and a number of cousins. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Highway # 1 North. The Revs. Eric Kincaid, Carl Hayes and Marion Britton will officiate. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chuck Bishop, Russell Stillinger, Jeff Murray, Bruce Murray, Bobby Griffin, Lynn Salley, Rock Slaughter and Woody Gregory.
