AIKEN, SC -- JOY IVALENE DANIEL, 66, beloved wife of Tommy G. Daniel, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at her residence. Born in Colorado City, TX, Joy was a daughter of the late Grover and Ruth Geoff Lee. She had lived in Aiken since 1974 and was a homemaker and a member of Levels Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Tommy; four daughters, Terri (Larry Cooley) Garvin, Aiken, Vicky (Dewayne Atkinson) Daniel, North Augusta, Tammy (Lauren Rhoads) Abercrombia, Aiken, and Kelly (Dowell Fulmer) Chubbuck, Aiken; a son, Jerry (Gwen Piar) Daniel; Aiken, 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucy, Beth and Betty; and a brother Billy. The Funeral will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
