Annie Ruth Sosebee Jackson

Aiken- Mrs. Annie Ruth Sosebee Jackson, 88, widow of Fletcher Jackson, died March 06, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Jefferson County, GA, Mrs. Jackson was a daughter of the late Bruce Samuel and Frances Pauline Davis Sosebee. She had lived in Aiken since 1961, and was retired from the Graniteville Company’s Hickman Plant. She was a member of South Aiken Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include a daughter; Sharon Ruth (Tom) Johnson, Aiken, four sons; Donald Fletcher (Sandra) Jackson, Roger B. (Jerri) Jackson, James Ricky (Shirley) Jackson, and Michael David (Cheryl) Jackson all of Aiken, a number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to a favorite charity.
