AIKEN – Mrs. Lois Eleanor Field Cozad, 82, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 PM Friday at First Presbyterian Church. Reverend Martha Ebel and Reverend Holly Shoaf-Okula will officiate. Interment will be held privately. Mrs. Cozad was born in Middlefield, OH, a daughter of the late Lewell Gordon Field and Edith Louise Yochum. She was a bookkeeper, and had lived in Aiken for over 3 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, in the Church Circle, the Women’s Golf Club, active at the Senior Center and with Meals on Wheels, and was the former Central Florida Cookie Chairman for the Girl Scouts. Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles Philip Cozad, a daughter, Barbara Cozad (Alan) Biddle, Annandale, VA; a son, the Reverend Dr. David (Dana) Cozad, Aiken; four grandchildren, Matthew E. Cozad, Elizabeth E. Cozad, Andrew M. Biddle, Lisa E. Biddle; and a great grandchild, Brennan D. Cozad. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Memorial Fund at First Presbyterian Church, 224 Barnwell Ave., Aiken, SC 29801.
