AIKEN, SC -- MICHAEL SOLIS, 51, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. A native of Lake Charles, LA, Michael was a son of Joe J. and Guadalupe Ortiz Solis. He grew up in Houston, TX and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Michael was an employee of Aiken Taxi Co. Survivors, in addition to his parents of Houston, TX, include two son's , Michael Eric Solis, Houston, TX,and Richard Anthony Solis,Edgefield,S.C, a sister, Sandra Allen, Indiana and three brothers; Joe Jay Solis II, Oscar Solis and Lewis Solis, all of Houston, TX. A celebration of Michael's life will begin at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Playoff's Sports Bar and Grill (Formerly Pat's Restaurant).
