Kathryn Beheler

AIKEN, SC – KATHERINE WHITMIRE BEHELER, 80, widow of Bill H. Beheler, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Greenville, SC, Mrs. Beheler was a daughter of the late Elsker and Molly Mitchell Whitmire. She had lived in Aiken for the last 57 years. She was a retired agent with Durham Life Insurance Company and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Danny H. Beheler, Griffin, GA, Steve C. Beheler and Bruce H. Beheler, both of Aiken, six grandchildren, Danny H. Beheler, Jr., William L. Beheler, Leslie N. Owens, Allison R. Alderman, Chris H. Beheler and Lynsey S. Beheler, three great-grandchildren, Jackson Beheler, Garrett Beheler and Haley Ann Alderman, a sister, Norma Jean Whitworth, Chattanooga, TN and a brother, Bob Whitmire, Greenville, SC. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Millbrook Baptist Church with The Rev. Dr. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC.
