AIKEN, SC --Mr. James Keith Price, 76, of 9 Furman Dr. Aiken, SC, passed away Tuesday morning January 23, 2007. Sometimes there are no words - only love. Keith Price was much loved by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm at South Aiken Presbyterian Church of 1711 Whiskey Rd. in Aiken, SC, 29803. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years Laverne, three sons James Keith (Debra) Price, Jr. of Aiken, SC, Gregory Allen Price of Aiken, SC, and Rev. Steven Lavern Price of Greenville, SC, his granddaughter Lauren Price Maciejewski of Aiken, and his grandson Keith Porter Price of Aiken, and his very special great-granddaughter Lainy Price Maciejewski age 2 of Aiken. His beloved daughter Cindy Price preceded him in death. Keith Price’s family included five sisters Emily Price Waters Allen, Judy Biron, Faye Bradbury all in Cherokee County, SC, Annette Gardner of Cross, SC, and Evelyn Price and Betty Jean deceased. Seven brothers including Jack Price of Aiken, SC, Carl Price of Columbia, SC, Patton Price of Cowpens, SC. He was preceded by his brother Joe, Glen, Mike, and Dyson Price of Cherokee County, and D.C. Price of Greer. His parents were Eloise and Jim Price Keith Price graduated from Clemson University in 1950 with a B.S. Degree. He was an honor graduate, a member of who’s who, and Phi Kappa Phi. After 44 years of service at the Savannah River Site, Keith retired in 1996 as the Human Resources Manager of the Savannah River Laboratory. The family will receive friends following the celebration of Keith’s life in the fellowship hall of the church.
