AIKEN - Mr. William "Bill" Bryant Sibley, 86, died Friday, April 13, 2012.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Fred Andrea III officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until the time of the service. Internment will be private, at Historic Bethany Cemetery.

Mr. Sibley was born in Rock Hill, SC, a son of the late Charles Cecil and Lillian Bryant Sibley. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken and a former Vice President for the Farmers and Merchants Bank. He was a member of the NWTF, the Peeples Deer Club, and a member of First Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish, and dearly loved his daughter, grandchildren and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Florence "Neil" (Jim) Cribb, Aiken; grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Suttles, Hailey O'Neil Suttles, Bradley Cribb, Joshua Cribb and Jamie Cribb; sister, Margaret S. (Arthur) Posey, Aiken.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Crosland Sibley.
