WARRENVILLE, SC – Mrs. Maria Sosa Wright, widow of George Wright, Jr., died Tuesday, April 10, 2012.

Born in Malacatan, Guatemala to her parents Humberto and Hercilia Argueta Sosa, Mrs. Wright moved to the US in 1978 where she made a career in nursing.

She is survived by her daughter Hilda Taylor, Warrenville, SC, a son Robert Young, NJ., three grandchildren, Christina Young, Robert Young, Jr., and Gloria Taylor Lowe, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Other survivors include two sisters, Marina Figueroa, Aiken, SC and Lydia Martinez, Guatemala and one brother, Robert Arguetta of Guatemala.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Young.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. John Arthur officiating. Interment will follow in historic Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Erick Figueroa, Vidal Arias, Mario Figueroa, George Barrios, Guillermo Arias and Robert Young Jr.
